  • My father Captain Alexander Addison was in RAMC in the 1950 s serving for 3 years after graduating as a doctor He died in 2021 and in his property we found a complete trunk of all of his uniforms etc we sold them at auction and all of the proceeds rounded up are coming to you Laidlaw Auctioneers (per Paul Laidlaw ) waived their fees when we told them the purpose of the sale He was a keen supporter of the Legion in Douglas in Lanarkshire where he served as a GP from 1959 until 1995 He was awarded MBE for his services to medicine
